Is my data really secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored. Even the operator cannot read your data.
What happens if I forget my password?
The master password is never stored. If lost, you can no longer decrypt the vault. However, your heir will automatically receive access after 60 days without check-in.
How does automatic release work?
If you don't check in for 60 days, an email with the encrypted key is automatically sent to your heir. They can then decrypt the vault using the QR code you gave them.
Can I configure multiple heirs?
Currently, the app supports one heir. However, you can create multiple QR codes and distribute them to different people.
Is the app free?
The app is free. There are no fees for using it.
